Recipe Ingredients

  • 2 cups of water
  • ½ cup salted butter softened.
  • 1 ½ cups dark brown Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon rum extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Directions:

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a medium saucepan.
  2. Meanwhile, add the butter to a mixing bowl with the sugar, spices, and rum extract.
  3. Beat until smooth and well combined.
  4. Add the butter, sugar, and spice mixture to the pot of water along with the heavy cream.
  5. Reduce to a simmer, cover, and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Pour into glasses and serve.
